Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Indiana seeks a Security Lead Officer to work under the Security Supervisor/Manager, covering Track side positions as needed and supporting training efforts.

You will learn all Officer roles, enforce rules, monitor shifts, and handle radio communications while upholding company values and safety procedures at Horseshoe Indianapolis.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid Motor Vehicle License with good driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years old (Backside) or 21 (Frontside).
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification and Indiana Horse Racing Commission licensure required.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk long periods.
  • Must work in noisy, smokey environments and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and cover Security Officer positions on the Track side as needed.
  • Learn Morning Horse Training policies and related procedures.
  • Assist in new Officer training.
  • Monitor all Officers on their shift and report concerns to the supervisor.
  • Enforce Caesars Entertainment rules and report violations immediately.
  • Monitor radio traffic and respond to calls as needed.

Job Summary

The Security Lead Officer will work closely with and take direction from a Security Supervisor and/or the Security Manager .

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

Responsible for learning every Security Officer position on the Track side of the property and will be called upon to cover those position as needed.

Learn the Morning Horse Training policies and procedures, Equine Euthanasia procedures, Human Injuries procedure Including both on and off track, Team Member injury procedures and others as assigned.

Assist in new Officer training.

Monitor all Officer’s on their shift and report any concern they have to their supervisor.

Required to enforce the rules and regulations of the Horseshoe Indianapolis and the IHRC and report all violations to their Supervisor immediately.

Required to monitor all radio traffic and respond to and take calls as needed.

What You Will Need
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Must be able to work in a noisy, smoked filled, with close quarters, and hot or cold in excessive weather conditions; depending on your work area.
