Job summary

DK Security is seeking a Lead Officer to oversee field operations in Michigan. You will supervise staff, ensure adherence to site guidelines, and maintain client relationships on a 30–39 hour weekly schedule.

This non-armed position requires travel in a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement and a wage of $18.61 per hour. Strong customer service and English proficiency are essential; CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Drug screening required at hire and random testing thereafter due to federal contract.
• No felonies or certain misdemeanors.
• Must be able to sit/stand/walk 8–12 hours and lift 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to become certified).
• Must be able to see 20 ft clearly and hear in loud environments.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Billable: 30–39 hours per week in a uniform capacity.
• Travel frequently in a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursed after 50 miles (one-way).
• Direct, supervise, and manage subordinates and ensure site guidelines are followed.
• Oversee site training and ensure officers carry out duties.
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance of all staff.
• Communicate with client contact and update operations manager on status.
• Support DK’s customer service GIFTS program with all officers.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and uniforms and report issues.
• Be on-call to handle scheduling and site questions.
