Job summary

CGL Electronic Security, Inc. is seeking a D-licensed Security Technician to join as a Team Leader in the Westwood, MA area. You will install, program, and service access control and video systems, lead apprentices, and ensure high standards of customer service on every site.

The role involves hands-on installations, network configurations, and maintaining up-to-date certifications, with opportunities for growth within a family-run business structure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years servicing, installing, or programming access control systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Previous experience with Software House (required)
• Ability to travel local to jobsites on a regular basis
• Comfortable working at heights and handling hand/power tools as needed
• Able to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Installation of access control systems from start to finish, including Software House, Genetec, S2 Systems, Openpath, DSC, Honeywell.
• Installation and service of various video surveillance solutions including Genetec, Exacq, Milestone.
• Hardware device installations including readers, electric locking hardware, exit devices, power supplies, pipe/wire.
• Perform IP network configuration for video surveillance and access control systems
• Maintain certifications for camera and access control systems
