Job summary

CGL is seeking a D licensed Security Technician to join the team as a Team Leader in the Boston area. You will install, diagnose, and service access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems, while leading junior technicians and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on experience with Security House, Genetec, and other platforms, along with a commitment to safety and high-quality service. Occasional travel and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to interact with stakeholders and field teams.
• Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must lead others on the team and train apprentices.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose and repair access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems.
• Provide excellent service to customers and respond to service calls.
• Program and configure system software and maintain certifications.
• Travel locally to job sites and work at heights as needed.
