Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an experienced Security Install Lead Technician in the United States to oversee complex installation projects and lead field teams. You will perform advanced work on intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage systems, while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 8+ years in fire and life safety, 3+ years in a lead capacity, and a clean driving record. NICET II or related certifications are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8+ years in fire and life safety industry as technician or higher.
• 3+ years lead or supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record (if driving role).
• NICET II+ or manufacturer certifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage security systems.
• Lead individual jobs or multiple installation projects while actively performing field work.
• Coordinate daily job site activities and support field crews for efficient project completion.
• Diagnose and resolve complex installation issues promptly and professionally.
• Test and verify proper system functionality and compliance with codes and customer requirements.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, system layouts, and technical manuals.
• Provide guidance and training to technicians, apprentices, and entry-level employees.
• Communicate project status to customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Complete installation documentation, inspection reports, and work orders accurately and on time.
• Follow all safety procedures and travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Kenntnisse
