Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Fire Alarm Install Supervisor in the United States to lead installation teams, manage projects, and drive safety and quality across operations. The role encompasses hiring, performance management, scheduling, and field support, with travel to job sites as needed.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in fire and life safety, 7+ years in supervision, and a strong grasp of fire alarm systems and codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a fire and life safety leader or above.
• 7+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated leadership with full management accountability.
• Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, installation practices, and applicable codes.
• Proficiency with computers and common business software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using service management or inspection software platforms and mobile field service apps.
• Ability to learn and use company-specific systems for scheduling, reporting, and workforce management.
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Provide full management oversight of installation teams, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and discipline.
• Direct and coordinate daily work activities of technicians, leads, and field staff.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with codes and standards.
• Approve timecards, manage schedules, and allocate workforce resources effectively.
• Monitor operational performance, productivity, and quality across teams and projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Support employee development through coaching and feedback.
• Review and maintain accurate job documentation, reports, and system records.
• Utilize service management and inspection systems for scheduling, reporting, and oversight.
• Provide field support during extenuating circumstances and travel to job sites as required.
