Target Technology Services is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to drive design and delivery of Threat Management Platforms and Integrations. You will shepherd multi-component systems, APIs, data pipelines, and AI-enabled workflows from concept through production, with emphasis on reliability and security.

The role blends backend, platform, and frontend integration work, requiring strong ownership, cross-team influence, and practical cybersecurity acumen in a hybrid work model based in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Strong backend and platform engineering experience building APIs, services, integrations, workflow orchestration, and data-intensive applications.
• Meaningful frontend engineering experience and ability to work across full stack when needed.
• Experience building data pipelines, analytical data models, and reusable data capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and lead the design of Threat Management systems across multiple components.
• Design, build, and evolve consumable Threat Management products and derived data capabilities.
• Lead engineering of detection-lifecycle capabilities across platforms.
• Develop observability foundations and measurable outcomes for reliability and performance.
• Define testing, release, and change-management strategies for safe delivery.
