Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to advance secure software delivery across the firm, combining strong engineering fundamentals with AI-assisted development practices in a global, inclusive environment.

You will design and implement tamper-proof, audit-defensible security solutions, apply risk-based threat modeling, and drive secure coding standards across multiple domains while collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in security engineering concepts with 5+ years applied experience.
• Proficiency in C# on .NET 6+ and SQL Server/T-SQL for enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, version control, and CI/CD tools (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale security engineering solutions for internal products, platforms, and applications.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms ensuring reliability at scale.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security docs with proper data handling.
• Use vulnerability scanning tools to identify threats and summarize risks to drive improvements in coding hygiene and architecture.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications across the engineering lifecycle.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate secure delivery while maintaining standards.
• Support agentic AI solutions, including threat modeling of agent behaviors and audit logging controls.
• Lead awareness, training, and exercises to strengthen security readiness.
• Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted SDLC practices to strengthen security testing and traceability.
