Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of applied experience in security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve distributed, secure, scalable cloud systems.
• Contribute hands-on code in Java and Python for production services.
• Develop and maintain production services using Java Spring frameworks.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to enhance threat modeling and security docs.
• Identify and remediate architectural risks and technical debt.
• Review designs and code for correctness, resilience and maintainability.
• Own end-to-end production behavior including incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Champion SDLC practices: design reviews, testing, release hygiene and rollback planning.
• Ensure security, audit, and compliance expectations are met day-to-day.
• Mentor senior engineers and promote secure coding practices.
• Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted workflows for secure validation and traceability.
