Job summary

Humana, Inc. seeks a Lead Security Architect to shape the security blueprint for enterprise systems and align architecture with business priorities.

You will partner with EIP and leaders to assess threats, identify gaps, and design forward-looking security solutions to strengthen Humana's security posture. The role leads vulnerability testing, assessments, and product security reviews while guiding secure design in SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT field and 8+ years cybersecurity experience with 5+ years in security architecture.
• Experience performing threat modeling and application security assessments.
• Experience integrating security controls into SDLC / DevSecOps.
• Experience reviewing architecture for enterprise applications.
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities and advising engineering teams.
• Experience securing APIs, web apps, and cloud workloads.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP and communicating risks to stakeholders.
• Must be passionate about improving consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform application security assessments, threat models and enforce secure design patterns.
• Determine security architecture requirements from business strategies.
• Advise on solutions addressing security risks or gaps.
• Lead security assessments and vulnerability testing across enterprise systems.
• Communicate design principles to stakeholders and drive secure development.
• Improve security designs to reduce post-development vulnerabilities.
• Influence stakeholders to remediate deficiencies in design and code.
• Automate and standardize security processes across teams.
