What You’ll Be Responsible For

We seek a passionate Lead Security Architect to design, implement, and maintain secure systems, focusing on cloud-first architecture with experience in Blockchain and user endpoint security. Collaborating with Engineering teams, you will support and challenge our security architecture, ensuring it meets current and future needs. You will lead initiatives to improve our security posture and shape our security strategy. This role offers technical challenges and professional growth opportunities.

This is a remote position; candidates must reside in the Greater Boston, MA area and be available for onsite visits on short notice.

What You'll Work On

• Develop and refine the security architecture aligned with cloud-first principles and emerging threats.
• Propose technical architecture options and provide specialized security advice.
• Integrate cloud architecture principles at the user endpoint level to enhance security.
• Evaluate security architecture through design assessment, risk assessment, threat modeling, and code review.
• Provide on-site security support for executive leadership during key events.
• Collaborate with Engineering to embed security protocols for future needs.
• Conduct on-site cybersecurity and network integrity assessments for stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring To Circle

• Proven experience as a Security Architect, with a strong record in cloud security frameworks.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to foster a proactive security culture.
• Effective communication and influence skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Enthusiasm for scalable security practices.
• Self-motivation and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound judgments.
• Experience in financial services or fintech is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of security best practices, compliance, and regulations, especially in Financial/Blockchain sectors.
• 7+ years in security engineering, including at least two focusing on cybersecurity architecture.
• Familiarity with Slack, MacOS, and GSuite.
