Job summary

S&S Paving & Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Sealcoat Foreman to lead a crew in sealcoating, crack sealing, striping prep, and asphalt maintenance projects in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on overseeing daily field operations, safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

Qualified candidates will have strong leadership skills, knowledge of asphalt preservation techniques, and the ability to coordinate crews, equipment, and materials while maintaining productivity and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in asphalt maintenance or sealcoating preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, project plans, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead sealcoat crews on commercial, municipal, and residential projects.
• Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members.
• Operate sealcoat spray systems, crack sealing equipment, blowers, and skid steers.
• Inspect project sites before, during, and after work for quality and compliance with specs.
• Monitor material usage and ensure proper mixing of sealcoat products.
• Ensure safety and OSHA-compliant practices; conduct daily safety meetings.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and customers on schedules.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and time records.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Train crew on sealcoating techniques, equipment use, and safety.
• Ensure proper traffic control measures when required.
• Adjust schedules based on weather conditions; maintain a clean job site.
