Job summary

Straight Edge Contractors, based in Texas, is seeking a Crack Sealing & Seal Coating Technician to join our outdoor crew. You will prep asphalt, operate crack sealing equipment, apply seal coats, and help keep job sites safe and clean.

We value reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to work with a team in varying weather. Overtime and paid training are available as we provide modern equipment and year-round projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in crack sealing, seal coating, asphalt maintenance, or construction preferred (training available for the right candidate).
• Able to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Safety-minded with attention to detail.

• Apply crack sealant using proper techniques and equipment.
• Mix, apply, and squeegee or spray asphalt seal coat.

• Perform traffic control and job site safety setup.
• Operate blowers, power brooms, pressure washers, and other preparation equipment.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Assist with daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and with high-quality results.
