  • 6. Provides guidance and training to seafood staff to meet performance standards.
  • 7. Performs product preparation, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
  • 8. Communicates guest requests/concerns to management.
  • 9. Makes PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the seafood department.
  • 10. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Overview

To supervise and ensure that Lowes Foods guest service, merchandising programs, and departmental operations are maintained through seafood service and seafood department activities to achieve maximum sales.

Responsibilities
  • 1. Ensures all guests receive polite, friendly greetings and interactions from the seafood department staff. Creates a selling environment through the use of selling skills.
  • 2. Maintains desired level of inventory and supplies for the seafood departments. Ensures in stock conditions through proper ordering.
  • 3. Operates the department according to merchandising and operational programs and guidelines.
  • 4. Maintains high quality and freshness with products available for sale. Ensures all products are in date.
  • 5. Maintains safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come in contact with seafood and in the prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
  • 6. Provides guidance, orientation, training, and feedback to the seafood department staff to ensure meat/seafood service clerks achieve satisfactory performance standards and guest interaction.
  • 7. Performs product preparation, receiving, stocking, and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
  • 8. Communicates guest requests/concerns to management.
  • 9. Makes PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department?
  • 10. Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
