Job summary

CVS Health in Missouri is seeking a Manager, Scrum Master to guide agile teams, remove impediments and ensure effective Scrum implementation. This full-time on-site role works with Product Owner and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and reliable releases.

You will coach Scrum Masters and Product Owners, help with budgeting and capacity planning, manage risk, and establish backlog processes while fostering collaboration and learning.

Qualifications

• Must have 5–7+ years work experience in agile environments.
• Adept at problem solving, decision making, collaboration and growth mindset.
• Strong execution and delivery skills including planning and delivery support.

Responsibilities

• Coaches scrum masters and product owners on agile principles, values, and best practices for project/product management.
• Develops budgets and resource planning strategy with consideration for team velocity and historical data.
• Determines the amount of work that can be completed within proposed project timelines.
• Ensures risk assessments include risks identification, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans for scrum projects.
• Establishes scrum processes for backlog management, prioritization techniques, and user story refinement.
• Forecasts team capacity and delivery potential for future projects to set realistic expectations for product releases.
