Bearon Manufacturing LLC is seeking a skilled Screw Machinist Set-Up Lead to join our Landisville, PA team. You will serve as the technical expert for Davenport, Acme, New Britain, and Wickman screw machines, handling setups, tooling changes, and output quality.

Responsibilities include rapid troubleshooting, First Article inspections, and adherence to precise engineering blueprints. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, steady hands, and a solid attendance record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive, hands-on experience setting up, troubleshooting, and operating Acme, New Britain, Wickman, or Davenport screw machines.
• Technical foundation through vocational training or related coursework.
• Industry experience in high-volume metal manufacturing or machining.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and blueprint interpretation.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 40–50 pounds with assistance.

Responsabilités

• Expert Machine Setup: Perform comprehensive setups, tooling changes, and adjustments on Davenport Screw Machines to produce precision parts.
• Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve complex machine and programming issues swiftly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Quality Assurance: Use precision measuring tools to perform First Article and in-process inspections, ensuring adherence to blueprints and quality standards.
