Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is a leading eye health company seeking a translational scientist to advance PK/PD, pharmacometrics, and clinical pharmacology across ophthalmic programs. You will design and oversee nonclinical and clinical PK studies, interpret data for go/no-go decisions, and interact with regulatory agencies to help bring innovative eye therapies to patients.

The role requires a PhD with 6+ years of relevant experience, expertise in PK/PD modeling, and familiarity with regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience in PK/PD, modeling, pharmacometrics, or systems pharmacology.
• Ophthalmic drug development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads clinical pharmacology, PK, PD, and pharmacometrics across Rx and consumer pipelines.
• Designs nonclinical PK/TK and clinical pharmacology studies including first-in-human and ocular PK.
• Applies PK/PD data to inform portfolio decisions and regulatory interactions.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of modeling methods and software.
• Communicates findings to management and regulatory bodies.
