Job summary

Bausch + Lomb seeks a translational scientist to lead translational nonclinical PK, PK/PD, ADME, clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics within our ophthalmic portfolios.

The role drives program strategy, supports go/no-go decisions, and ensures alignment with ICH/FDA/EMA guidance while coordinating across R&D, Regulatory, and management teams. Strong modeling and simulation expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with substantial experience in PK/PD and pharmacometrics.
• Experience with ocular drug development and ophthalmic pharmacology is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead PK/PD, and pharmacometrics activities across Rx and consumer ophthalmic pipelines.
• Develop action plans for candidate selection, first-in-human strategy, dose selection and life-cycle management.
• Communicate PK/clinical pharmacology implications to management and regulatory bodies.
