GE Vernova in the United States is seeking a research scientist focused on fundamental and applied research for energy storage materials and devices. You will develop and modify high‑performance active materials, synthesize formulations, and characterize performance in prototype cells.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to translate findings into product improvements, maintain records, and contribute to advancing electrochemical systems such as lithium ion capacitors

Formación

• PhD or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrochemistry, Physical Chemistry, or a related field with 2-5 years of industrial experience desired.
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant industry experience may be considered as an alternate to the PhD or Master's requirement.
• Ability to work within and contribute to cross-functional development teams including engineers and scientists.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct fundamental and applied research into advanced chemical materials and formulations for energy storage applications.
• Design, synthesize, and characterize high-purity chemical formulations and active materials.
• Develop and optimize electrode materials, structures, and prototype cells.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into product improvements.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
