Job summary

Drug Hunter is seeking a Director of Scientific Data & Informatics to own the integrity and evolution of our scientific data across the knowledge platform. You will lead the data team and bridge scientists and engineers.

You will define data standards, provenance, and ontology strategies, evaluate data sources, and collaborate with product, science, and engineering to deliver scalable data solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role with mentorship and hiring responsibilities.

Qualifications

• PhD in cheminformatics, bioinformatics, computational biology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data team and align data strategy with science and engineering.
• Own data standards, provenance, validation, completeness, and curation at scale.
• Define representation, normalization, and ontology for chemical and biological data across sources.
• Collaborate with Engineering on data models and architecture for the Drug Hunter platform.
• Translate scientific priorities into executable data projects for delivery.
