Charles River Laboratories is seeking an experienced scientist to provide scientific support for preclinical and clinical research and to manage studies from start-up through data reporting. You will interpret data, ensure GLP compliance, mentor staff and collaborate across disciplines to improve methods and models.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in a scientific field (MS preferred) with 4–6 years in a lab setting, including CRO/pharma experience, strong communication, and proficiency with

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline; Master's preferred.
• 4–6 years in animal science, biology, chemistry/pharmacy, or similar lab environment.
• 2 years in contract research or pharmaceutical industry.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee study start-up with cross‑department coordination.
• Assist in generating study protocols and regulatory procedures.
• Ensure data are accurately recorded and verified.
• Review and present data with limited supervision.
• Serve as study director or project scientist on basic studies.
• Mentor less experienced staff and provide guidance.
• Ensure GLP compliance in preclinical and clinical research.
• Collaborate to develop new techniques and models.
• Contribute to department operations and inspections.
• Attend meetings and trainings to enhance skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
