Charles River is seeking a lead Formulations technician for preclinical studies. Independently prepare bulk vehicles and complex test article formulations for toxicology studies with minimal supervision. You will ensure data quality, mentor junior technicians, and support QA audits and troubleshooting in a GLP environment.

A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of lab experience are required; a B.S. in biological science is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in biological science preferred.
• 2+ years of lab experience.
• Equivalents may be accepted in place of education/experience.
• Must be able to work effectively as a team, record data, follow verbal and written instructions, maintain a positive work atmosphere, and communicate effectively.

Responsabilités

• Prepare bulk vehicles and complex formulations using various mixing methods.
• Prepare dosing aliquots and formulation samples for solutions, suspensions, and dispensations.
• Record test article and vehicle data to maintain accountability and inventory.
• Verify formulation calculations and data quality control checks.
• Assist with QA audits of procedures and execute corrective actions.
• Help with laboratory investigations and troubleshooting.
• Assist in training new personnel.
• Participate in process improvement projects.
