Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in ServSafe or equivalent food-safety program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in supervision and staff development.
• Knowledge of Child Nutrition Program guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, planning, monitoring, and oversight of local school Child Nutrition Program operations.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate CNP personnel to ensure quality and safety of food services.
• Assist in food preparation and service for Cullman County Schools.
• Maintain records for personnel, inventory, purchasing, and compliance with health regulations.
• Promote health, safety, and training programs for CNP staff and students.
• Coordinate with health officials and school leadership to ensure program integrity.
• Ensure menus are followed and meals meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee equipment, storage, and kitchen cleanliness.
