Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Child Nutrition Program.
• Valid ServSafe certification.
• Knowledge of Child Nutrition Program guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to use technology as required to perform job responsibilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assist in supervision and development of assigned personnel.
• Leadership, organization, collaboration, and planning skills.
• Possess and maintain health certifications as required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active duties.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates support for the school system and its goals.
• Assists in preparation and service of food according to the written menu.
• Supervises job rotation/schedule as assigned by CNP Manager or Supervisor.
• Assists CNP manager in ensuring smooth function during meal times.
• Assists in inventories, reports, and ordering food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains food service equipment according to guidelines.
• Notifies the CNP manager when supplies are low.
• Participates in cleaning of kitchen and dining areas.
• Observes sanitation and safety procedures in food prep, service, and storage.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding school/workplace matters.
