Job summary

Woods Services in Langhorne, PA, seeks an experienced kitchen leader to oversee daily school food service operations. You will supervise cooks, ensure high-quality meals, and maintain NSLP compliance.

You will collaborate with school staff, manage inventory and records, and foster an inclusive kitchen culture focused on teamwork and accountability. A ServSafe certification and 3–5 years of K-12 food service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in food/nutrition or related field, or 3–5 years' food service management experience.
• ServSafe certification mandatory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic communication platforms.
• Experience in K-12 programs preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals for students and staff.
• Oversee scheduling, inventory, compliance, and food safety.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff; manage production records, vendor orders, and budget.
• Develop menus that are nutritious and NSLP-compliant.
• Collaborate with administrators to support student well-being and a positive kitchen culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
