Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Three years experience in food service.
• Valid Food Service Permit required.
• Must complete the training course for certification of beginning school food service personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate central kitchen food service operations and activities.
• Plan transportation of food service and set schedules while ensuring safety and sanitation.
• Prepare menus and monitor budgets and expenditures.
• Supervise and train food service personnel; evaluate staff.
• Inspect lunchroom and kitchen daily for health and sanitation compliance.
• Plan and coordinate food service operations with school activities to boost participation.
