Job summary

Compass Group USA in Reese, MI seeks a Director of Dining Services to lead nutrition programs across Reese Public Schools, serving ~800 students. You will oversee daily food service operations, manage a team of 11 associates, ensure financial accountability and regulatory compliance, and deliver a positive dining experience for students, staff and families.

The role emphasizes building relationships, developing teams, and frontline leadership, with Monday–Friday hours 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of foodservice management experience required.
• Dining experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Financial and business acumen

Responsibilities

• Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
• Maintains excellent relationships with the client
• Works with the team in creating nutritious and top quality food for the students
• Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the Company marketing and culinary teams
• Acts as a liaison between the Company, Client, and the community
