Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated competency as defined by WV Code and state policy.
• Ability to read and follow menus and directions.

Responsibilities

• Reviews weekly menus for planning food preparation.
• Prepares menus for daily service.
• Maintains temperature readings.
• Assembles, measures, and mixes ingredients.
• Supervises or participates in cleaning, maintenance and security of kitchen and storage areas.
• Trains substitute cooks and oversees kitchen operation.
