Job summary

Qualifications

• Wyoming County Foodhandlers Permit required.
• Experience in institutional or commercial cooking preferred.
• Ability to read recipes and calculate ingredient measurements.
• Functional working skill in operating school kitchen equipment.
• Must pass WVDE cook competency test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of work and conduct as determined by the Director of Child Nutrition and General Wellness.
• Preparation of all types of food according to State and Federal guidelines.
• Wash dishes, sweep and mop kitchen area, as needed.
• Cleans all equipment used.
• Serve food to students and staff.
• Aid in taking inventory of food and supplies and restocks storage areas as food and supplies are received.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisors.
