Job summary

WPA is a woman-owned Owner's Representative firm in the New York City area seeking an experienced Estimator to support the SCA JOC program. You will develop mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and construction estimates across all project phases, reporting to the Program Manager and leadership.

Responsibilities include reviewing estimates with documentation, assisting negotiations, preparing costed scopes, and coordinating with engineers, owners, contractors.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 5 years of general construction estimating experience.
• Ability to review estimates with supporting documentation.
• Familiarity with E-Gordian/SCA Estimating platform preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review construction estimates with supporting documentation.
• Assist project team in contract negotiations and revisions.
• Prepare estimates for major and minor construction aspects.
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors on cost changes.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements for the project.
• Track actual costs vs bids and monitor costs.
• Coordinate with project managers and estimators on cost proposals.
