Effective School Solutions seeks a Lead Clinician to join our team, providing mental health screenings and services within a school setting. The clinician will work with one assigned high school, collaborating with a seasoned management team to deliver high-quality clinical services.

We seek a fully or associate licensed clinician who believes in early intervention and is dedicated to delivering accessible mental health care that supports student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Current full or associate clinical license in social work (LSW/LCSW), counseling (LAC/LPC), or marriage and family therapy (LAMFT/LMFT) in the state where this position is offered.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children and/or adolescents with significant behavioral and emotional challenges, elementary age preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience administering crisis screening assessments to children.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood and elementary developmental milestones, as well as common emotional and behavioral concerns.
• Experience with crisis intervention, risk assessment, and care coordination for students in need of mental health services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, school personnel, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage a flexible, multi-site caseload and maintain timely documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with using electronic medical record systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to complete thorough clinical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Conduct mental health screenings across 1 high school building in district.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to assess students’ mental health status.
• Analyze screening data to determine the need for further evaluation or intervention.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and mental health professionals to develop appropriate support plans for identified students.
• Provide individual therapy to a select caseload of students and make referrals to appropriate services as needed.
• Coordinate and actively participate in re-entry meetings for students returning after screenings.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
