Job summary

World of Knowledge Early Learning Center is seeking a Lead School-Age Teacher to lead activities for school-age children. The role emphasizes hands-on activities, field trips, and creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment. It requires strong leadership, reliable performance, and the ability to drive a 15-passenger van.

The position involves supervising before/after school care, on no-school days, and summer programs, with opportunities for paid training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be comfortable driving a 15-passenger van.
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and enrichment programs.
• Supervise children before and after school, on no-school days, and during summer programs.
• Safely transport children on field trips and school pick-ups/drop-offs using a 15-passenger van.
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Follow all state licensing, safety, and center policies.
