Job summary

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a School Age Services Supervisor for Mt. Airy School in Cincinnati to lead daily programming and staff supervision. The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging environment and overseeing school-age services across the year and summer programs.

You will supervise After School Assistants, develop plans, and ensure compliance with licensing, SUTQ, and accreditation standards, while collaborating with families and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of a CDA, Associate’s degree, or CPL 3 designation.
• Education and work experience must meet CPL 3 requirements through Ohio’s EC Professional Development Network.
• Eligible to serve as an Ohio Approved Child Care Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and child development.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing program needs.
• Willingness to consider new ideas to improve program performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly school-age programming.
• Select and implement curriculum supporting children's social-emotional, developmental, and educational growth.
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with state/accreditation standards.
• Promote trauma-informed practices and support social-emotional development.
• Monitor challenging behaviors and create response plans.
• Provide ratio coverage and classroom support as needed.
• Coordinate field trips, events, and enrichment activities.
• Lead summer programming development, staffing, and activities.
• Recruit and register families for school-age programming.
• Oversee tuition/fees and communicate with Finance on finances.
• Manage program expenses and staff hours within budget.
• Maintain confidential child/family data.
• Coordinate calendars; ensure lesson plans are implemented.
• Identify outside vendors for enrichment.
