Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for the Carbone Cancer Center in northern Illinois. This 100% FTE, full-time, day-shift role operates Monday–Friday with no weekends or holidays, at UW Health's Carbone Cancer Center.

Responsibilities include scheduling outpatient testing, providing strong customer service, and using computer systems. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, retirement, tuition assistance, and on-site daycare opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least three years experience scheduling outpatient testing.
• Healthcare customer service experience preferred in Carbone Cancer Center.
• Previous computer experience is required.

Job description

Work Schedule:

• 100% FTE, full-time, day shift
• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm (Hours vary depending on clinic staffing needs)
• No weekends and no holidays.
• You will work at UW Health's Carbone Cancer Center

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime
• On-call pay

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• Associates Degree with an emphasis on healthcare. Preferred
• Carbone Cancer Center: Associates Degree preferred with an emphasis on healthcare. Preferred

Work Experience

• At least three years experience scheduling outpatient testing. Required
• Carbone Cancer Center: At least 2 years of Customer Service experience in a healthcare setting or with medical claims insurance. Preferred
• Carbone Cancer Center: At least 2 years of Customer Service experience. Required
• Previous computer experience. Required
