POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs the primary functions of a Lead Scheduling Clerk/Coordinator within the Central Scheduling Department for outpatient ancillary/surgical departments by demonstrating knowledge in computer software, coding, and outpatient procedures the TX/OK Region. The Lead will work closely with Supervisor and Ancillary Departments, Patients, and Physician Offices. Will manage a high volume of incoming calls to schedule services. Registers patients and verifies benefits for the Tx/OK Region. The Lead routinely works Monday through Friday, and can be assigned to work after hours if needed.
