Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of healthcare scheduling experience preferred in PAS, Scheduling & PFS, or physician offices.
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding.
• Certified Medical Coder preferred; minimum one year physician coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule services for outpatient ancillary and surgical departments, handling a high call volume.
• Register patients and verify benefits for the TX/OK Region.
• Coordinate with ancillary departments, patients, and physician offices.
• Willingness to be cross trained to other areas and work after hours/weekends as needed.
