Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree preferred.
1–3 years scheduling experience required.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work with patients, visitors and physicians’ offices to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily Scheduler activities and monitor workload to ensure high-quality service.
Schedule all patient procedures with accuracy, balancing provider availability and time.
Interview patients or office staff to obtain medical history and demographics.
Coordinate patient care procedures via phone and direct contact.
Enter patient data and maintain accounts receivable-related records.
Maintain follow-up appointment database and send reminders.
Complete patient/insurance files and document activities; follow up as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
