Job summary

Job description

Daksta are partnered with a Top 30 ENR GC, seeking a lead scheduler to lead their large scale Data Center projects throughout the US.

In this role, you will join a leading ENR GC seeing revenues of nearly $6B across the US, specializing in mega projects for Fortune 500 companies like Samsung, Tesla and Microsoft.

You will be reporting strictly into the Director of Scheduling, and a part of a high-performing scheduling department, where schedulers are seen as one of the most important part of the project.

  • Lead the development, management, and maintenance of project schedules for multiple large-scale construction projects across various locations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors on-site to gather scheduling input and ensure accuracy and alignment with project milestones.
  • Perform critical path analyses, identify schedule risks, and provide mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates to reflect changes in scope, sequencing, and resource availability.
  • Utilize Primavera P6 to create and manage detailed construction schedules.
  • Provide training and mentorship to project teams on scheduling best practices and procedures.
  • Prepare and present schedule progress reports to internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring clear communication of project timelines and potential delays.
  • Travel to project sites to support scheduling needs during preconstruction, execution, and close-out phases.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 5+ years of dedicated scheduling experience required, with experience leading projects.
  • Experience on large scale ($100M+) ground-up projects.
  • Experience working on the General Contractor side (candidates with only owners rep experience will not be a fit).
  • Demonstrated stability in employment, with limited job moves.
  • Data Center Experience is preferred
  • Must be comfortable working full-time on site - remote of hybrid working is not possible - please do not apply if you are only looking for hybrid or remote.
  • Willing to Travel or Relocate to either one of these locations (Texas, Mississippi, North Carolina, Louisiana, Arkansas)
