Job summary

ATS Welding, LLC is seeking an experienced Scaffold Leadman to lead scaffold crews on industrial construction, maintenance and turnaround projects. You will supervise crews, read scaffold drawings, and coordinate daily activities to ensure safe erection and dismantling in line with standards.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity with daily hazard assessments, on-site leadership, and collaboration with project management and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of scaffold construction experience.
• Experience leading scaffold crews.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA scaffold regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to read scaffold drawings and work plans.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel as project needs require.
• Scaffold Competent Person certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise scaffold crews on industrial and commercial job sites.
• Read and interpret scaffold drawings and project specifications.
• Plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure scaffolds are erected, modified, and dismantled safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and job hazard assessments.
• Inspect scaffolding for compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Train and mentor scaffold builders and helpers.
• Coordinate with project management, clients, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
• Complete required documentation including inspections, timekeeping, and daily reports.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism.
