Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder Leadman in the United States. The role oversees construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures, ensuring safety and compliance with site requirements.

Responsibilities include instructing on installation, supervising material handling, and performing final inspections, with a strong emphasis on OSHA standards and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• NCCER, a Valid Driver’s License, and a TWIC Card.
• Experience in scaffolding safety and construction environments.
• Ability to work at heights and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• supervise construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• determine type of scaffold needed and instruct on installation.
• oversee transport and erection of scaffolding materials per supervisor instruction.
• hoist scaffolding materials to erect temporary structures.
• secure and level locking sections and anchor scaffold to structures.
• ensure OSHA, site-specific and Austin Industrial requirements are followed.
• supervise dismantling and store scaffolding material after use.
• perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• other duties as assigned.
