Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffolding Lead for Houston project sites to supervise construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures.

The role requires 4 years of journeyman-level experience, NCCER Scaffolding certification, TWIC card, and a valid driver’s license. Candidates must comply with OSHA and site requirements and be able to work at heights safely.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Work at heights with no fear; supervise installation and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or temporary structures.
• Oversight of transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erects the scaffold as instructed.
• Hoists scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structure.
• Properly secures scaffold to the permanent structure for stability.
• Adheres to OSHA and site requirements for erecting and navigation of the scaffolding.
• Supervises dismantling of scaffolding when instructed.
• Inspects and stores scaffolding material after dismantling.
• Performs final inspection of completed scaffolding.
