Responsibilities

• Determines type of scaffold needed.
• Inspects job site and all scaffold material for defects and safety hazards.
• Communicates safety hazards and mitigates risks prior to construction.
• Transports tubular scaffold or other structural material and erects the scaffold.
• Hoists scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structure.
• Secures and levels locking sections of scaffolding.
• Adheres to OSHA and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting and navigation of scaffolding.
• Performs final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• Dismantles scaffolding when instructed; stores materials after dismantling.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; Austin cannot sponsor visas.
