Job summary

Blue Origin’s TeraWave program seeks a Satellite Test Software Lead to architect, develop, and maintain the test software stack powering vehicle electrical, avionics and HWIL test infrastructure in the Greater Seattle area.

You will own end-to-end test software, lead engineers, and work with Avionics, Flight Software and Systems teams to enable automated testing, data pipelines, and dashboards that scale with production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering.
• 8+ years in test software or embedded systems.
• Experience architecting test frameworks for production or flight hardware.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, MATLAB.
• Experience integrating software with hardware interfaces.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment integration.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the architecture of the test software ecosystem.
• Lead development of test sequencing engines and limit checking.
• Own integration with hardware interfaces and RF equipment.
• Coordinate with Avionics, Flight software, and Systems teams.
• Mentor and lead a team of test software engineers.
• Deliver automated reports and real-time dashboards.
