Job summary

Athena Technology Group, Inc. (ATG) seeks a Lead Ground Systems Technician to support the operations, management and maintenance of satellite and ground systems, ensuring continuous and reliable satellite communications in direct support of Fleet, Joint and interagency operations.

The role requires 5–10 years of hands-on TT&C experience, an engineering associate degree or certification, TS/SCI clearance, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

5–10 years of hands-on maintenance on TT&C ground systems.
Engineering credential or associate degree required.
5 years of experience with ground system test equipment and RF schematics.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive operations and maintenance support for ground systems.
Ensure continuous and reliable operation of mission critical ground systems.
Operate and maintain Satellite ground systems.
Support ground system equipment including SGLS & EHF antennas, pedestals, RF components, receivers, high-power amplifiers, TLT, etc.
Troubleshoot all communication circuits and equipment supporting connectivity into 10 SOPS networks.
Follow CM policies per 10 SOPSINST 4130.3B.
Respond to ground system anomalies, diagnose and correct issues.
Initiate and implement corrective actions and upgrades per the 10 SOPS CM Plan.
