Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced SAP Value Stream Lead to own end-to-end SAP SCM activities from ECC through S/4HANA. You will design, build, and run a value stream bridging configuration and code, working hands-on near the shop floor and MES. This hybrid role requires 8+ years in SAP SCM and strong leadership.

The position reports to the IS Manager and is based in the EST time zone, with a preferred Cary, NC location and frequent travel to NC headquarters. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering or a related technical field is highly preferred.
• 8+ years hands-on SAP SCM experience MM/IM/PP/LE/WM with shop floor and MES knowledge.
• Strong S/4HANA experience across ECC and S/4 with bridge between configuration and code.
• Demonstrated ownership of a measurable business outcome end-to-end.
• Fluent English communication with stakeholders from executive to shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Own a Value Stream end-to-end—design, build, and run it to deliver a measurable business outcome.
• Prepare the SAP ECC core for S/4HANA—sequence and de-risk the transition with working software.
• Post go-live, own support and continuous improvements in S/4HANA.
• Work hands-on across SAP SCM modules (MM, IM, PP, LE/WM) close to manufacturing and MES.
• Recruit and lead a small senior squad (Finance, Order-to-Cash, Developer) and set the standard for ownership.
