Job summary

Sloan Valve Company is seeking a Lead SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and support custom ABAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA. You will work with business partners in Supply Chain, SD, HR, and Finance to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

You’ll mentor junior developers, lead technical design discussions, and contribute to OOABAP, CDS views, RAP/OData, and Fiori/UI5 efforts. Prior experience with EDI/IDocs and SAP add-ons (LeverX, Vistex) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in a large enterprise.
• Strong OOABAP, ABAP Objects, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework capabilities.
• Experience with S/4HANA development, CDS Views, RAP/OData services, and Fiori/UI5 integration.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA development experience including CDS Views, RAP, and OData services.
• Experience with SAPscript and Smartforms output documents.
• Functional/technical exposure to SCM/MM, SD, HR, or FI/CO.
• Proven ability to mentor juniors and lead technical design discussions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support ABAP programs across ECC and S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, SD, HR, and Finance to translate requirements into solutions.
• Gather requirements with BAs and deliver scalable ABAP solutions.
• Develop print forms using SAPscript/Smartforms (invoices, PO, shipping docs).
• Build SAP Business Workflows to automate approvals and notifications.
• Apply OOABAP principles to deliver maintainable code.
• Contribute to S/4HANA development, conversion, and optimization initiatives.
