Job summary

Accenture is seeking a SAP specialist in Cleveland to lead design, build, and test of custom development on S/4HANA and BTP. You will use ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core to modernize client systems and enable AI-infused workflows.

With 5+ years in SAP ABAP and 3+ years in BTP and data modeling, you will guide technical leadership, drive API adoption, and mentor global teams. Travel may be required and compensation varies by location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience on S/4HANA (NetWeaver 7.4/7.5) and ABAP Cloud.
• Minimum 3 years with SAP BTP tools and services (latest App Dev and Automation stack).
• Minimum 3 years data modeling with CDS views, AMDP, or OData.
• Minimum 3 years SAP custom development with Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side with RAP.
• Minimum 2 years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, architecture sign-offs).
• Experience with Chemicals & Natural Resources industry and consulting/advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and test of SAP custom development and extensibility on S/4HANA and BTP using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core.
• Drive migration from classic ABAP to Clean Core; oversee custom-code remediation and released-API adoption.
• Own technical design for workstreams; lead code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops.
• Leverage Generative AI Hub/Joule Studio to infuse SAP Business AI into development where applicable.
• Mentor global delivery teams and communicate across geographies; travel 0-100% as needed.
