Job summary

Accenture is seeking a SAP development lead to drive design, build, and testing of ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core solutions on S/4HANA and BTP. You will guide transition to Clean Core, perform architecture sign-offs, and mentor global delivery teams across geographies.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP ABAP development, 3+ years with BTP, and experience in consulting. Travel may be needed to meet client needs, with compensation aligned to US market ranges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years SAP ABAP development on S/4HANA and ABAP Cloud.
• 3+ years with SAP BTP tools & services.
• 3+ years data modeling with CDS AMDP OData.
• 3+ years SAP development with Fiori-first, Clean Core, and RAP.
• 2+ years in technical leadership (code reviews, design sign-offs).
• Experience with Chemicals & Natural Resources sector.
• Experience in consulting/advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, and test of SAP custom development and extensibility on S/4HANA and BTP using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core.
• Drive transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and API adoption.
• Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops.
• Leverage Generative AI Hub / Joule Studio to infuse development with SAP Business AI where applicable.
• Guide and mentor global delivery teams; travel may be required (0–100%).
