Job summary

SCIGON is seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and support custom SAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Supply Chain, SD, HR, and Finance teams to turn business requirements into robust ABAP designs.

Key skills include OOABAP, SAPscript/Smartforms, Workflow, CDS Views, and EDI/IDocs. The role also involves performance tuning, code reviews, documentation, and contributing to S/4HANA conversion and enhancements.

Qualifications

8-12 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in large enterprise environments.
Proficiency with core ABAP tools: Reports, ALV, Function Modules, Data Dictionary, debugging, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and support custom ABAP programs, enhancements, and interfaces across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Design and develop print forms and output documents using SAPscript and Smartforms.
Build and configure SAP Workflow solutions to automate approvals and notifications.
Apply OOABAP principles to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
Participate in S/4HANA development, conversion, and optimization initiatives, including CDS Views and OData/RAP development.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to ABAP standards.
Provide technical documentation and production issue resolution guidance.
