Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking an ABAP Developer to design, develop, and support custom SAP applications within an SAP S/4HANA environment. The role emphasizes OOABAP, CDS Views, RAP, OData, and modern SAP development practices.

You will collaborate with technical and functional teams to analyze requirements, extend functionality, and support modernization initiatives across SAP systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA development.
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
• Experience with CDS Views, OData, and RAP.
• Experience developing custom ABAP solutions using RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, enhancement frameworks, and custom programs.
• Experience with AMDP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver complex custom ABAP solutions within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to analyze requirements and develop scalable SAP solutions.
• Develop applications using Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, OData, RAP, RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancement frameworks.
• Extend and integrate new functionality with existing custom SAP applications.
• Develop and optimize ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects identified during testing and production support.
• Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and change management processes.
• Analyze application architecture and database structures to develop efficient technical solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of development activities.
• Provide ongoing production support and technical enhancements as required.
